Lightning strikes in the same place four times! Amam is back again with a forceful EP that create a dancefloor storm, one that’s swirling with funk and subtle details for an artful balance. As with the previous three Amam EPs, 22-year-old label owner Alessio Mereu is involved, this time bringing fellow Italian producer Matteo Spedicati aboard. The two both have a number of successful releases on labels like Contexterrior, Parquet and CMYK, and they first started working together for last fall’s Laws of Attraction EP on Toys For Boys Records. The lead track found its way into many respected DJs’ sets and just appeared on The Duke Dumont’s FabricLive51. Now, the duo are back for a second helping of synthetic house, with energy and elegance in equal amounts.
